Woodbury resident Bill Schafhauser, coach of the Hill-Murray School girls’ hockey team, has had a life-long love for the sport he coaches. The St. Paul native attended Hill-Murray himself, part of the class of 1980, and played on the varsity hockey team during his four years as a student there.
One of the busiest and most utilized roads in Woodbury was nothing more than a gravel thoroughfare just three decades ago. But one man’s vision, a 275-acre Christmas tree farm and five intrepid houses paved the way—literally—for a new road and a booming suburb.

Rudolph won’t need to use his nose to guide Santa to this holiday event at Central Park. On Saturday, December 6, kids will have the opportunity to decorate sugar cookies shaped like seasonal items and construct their own holiday crafts that are perfect for hanging on the tree at home.
After worshipping at East Ridge High School for the past three years, Eagle Brook Church settled into its new location in September .
The city of Woodbury received national recognition as one of the Best Towns for Families from Family Circle Magazine. Criteria for the honor included affordable homes, quality schools, access to healthcare, green space, low crime rate and financial stability.
